Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions. We have taken a few of the questions that seem to interest people and took some time with Anna to find the answers.

What are your top tips for buying local?

1. Think Seasonally - Get to know what is in season when.
2. Visit Farmers' Markets to get to the direct source - There are many on-line guides to help.
3. Buying local doesn't just mean buying from a farmer - Local artisans of all sorts are around you - Ice cream, cheese, bread, delis and
more!

When does your show air and on which networks?

The new season of ‘Fresh with Anna Olson' airs in Canada on Food Network, Wednesdays and Fridays, 8:30 am, 11:30 am and 7:30 pm EST. Please check your local listings for your airtimes.

‘Sugar' also continues to air - check your local listings for a schedule.

How many books have you written and where can I buy them?

I love developing new recipes and compiling them. This has lead me to write 6 cookbooks over the years. Most recently ‘Fresh with Anna Olson: Seasonally Inspired Recipes to Share with Family and Friends' in September 2009. My first cookbook, ‘Inn on the Twenty' was co-authored with my husband, Michael, followed by ‘Sugar' and ‘Another Cup of Sugar' soon after. ‘Anna and Michael Olson Cook at Home' was another team project released in 2005. In 2008, I also wrote 'In the Kitchen with Anna: New Ways with the Classics'.

My cookbooks are nationally distributed through chains such as Indigo and Chapters, and internationally on amazon.com.
